Phase II Orthodontics

Phase II treatment takes place once most or all the permanent teeth are in place in order to position all the permanent teeth to maximize their appearance and function. This is best accomplished with full braces or Invisalign®. When combined with Phase I treatment, Phase II treatment typically requires less patient compliance (no headgear and fewer rubber bands), often eliminates the need for extraction of permanent teeth and reduces the time spent in treatment.
